The Volunteer Lawyers Project and Senior Partners for Justice, in partnership with the Litigation Section of the Boston Bar Association and in cooperation with the Boston Municipal Court, is launching a pro bono Attorney for the Day project in collection cases in the Boston Municipal Court. Trained volunteer attorneys will be available one day a week to provide free legal assistance to indigent litigants.

This training will cover practical tips on evaluating and preparing for state court consumer debt collection cases, an overview of supplementary process proceedings in the district court, and substantive legal topics likely to arise in these cases.

The session is free for attorneys who agree to volunteer for the Project.

For more information about the Project, please contact Attorney Joanna Allison at VLP.

Register for the Training Online at the BBA Website.
