This training will prepare volunteer attorneys to represent veterans and current servicemembers with child support matters, both in court cases and in advocacy with the MA Department of Revenue (DOR). Topics to be covered include:

• Child support calculation basics
• Modifications of child support
• DOR child support enforcement tools
• Administrative relief available through DOR

VLP/Senior Partners for Justice is working with Shelter Legal Services, bar associations, and federal and state agencies to provide pro bono legal services to veterans and servicemembers. With this training, you will be ready to join that effort.

This training is free to attorneys who have taken or agree to take pro bono cases through VLP/SPJ.
