VLP Orientation for New Pro Bono Attorneys

We are offering an orientation session this fall for attorneys who want to meet some members of our staff and learn about our many opportunities to assist low-income clients. The session will outline the range of pro bono cases and projects that are available through VLP, so attorneys can find ways to be involved that fit their interests and schedules. We will also explain how our intake and referral process works and discuss the training and mentoring that we offer. In addition, we will provide an overview of poverty law and specific practice tips for working with our clients. This event will provide a valuable introduction to pro bono work for attorneys who are new to the practice of law or simply new to VLP.
