48-year-old woman with anxiety, depression, and physical pain seeks representation at ALJ hearing
The client is a 48 year-old woman with a high school education. She last worked in 2004 as a Security Officer. She stopped working after suffering a severe anxiety attack while at work. She suffers from physical impairments resulting in pain in her shoulder, back, and right hand as well as mental impairments including depression and anxiety.
The client applied for SSI and SSDI on January 10, 2007. Her application was denied on March 16, 2007. SSA determined that the client could do her past work. The client requested a review from a Federal Reviewing Official and received an unfavorable FedRo decision dated June 29, 2007. SSA determined that the client’s anxiety and depression are severe and limit her ability to work, however, they do not meet or equal SSA Listings or prevent her from doing any kind of work. Further, SSA determined that the client’s allegation of pain is not caused by severe medically determinable impairments and concluded that she can do her past relevant work. The client requested a hearing with an Administrative Law Judge on August 3, 2007.
Case No. MHS-07-0914-1429
